The Unit Clerk (Patty) on the third floor is the worst person I have likely ever encountered. Over the past several years, my family member has been a patient there off and on. Patty is consistently rude, has no apt for kindness and needs to retire. I feel sorry for anyone who has to go into the hospital and deal with her, even if its just a phone-call. It's sad, because the rest of the staff (admin and medical) are fantastic.

Our health care system sucks this hospital sucks never takes anything seriously everyone there is pissy. ER Certain doctors just laugh at you. The government sets limits on how much they spend on one person.

I have never had a bad experience at GR Baker.

I went for a CT scan. Parking was convenient and the entrance was easy to find. Finding the imaging department had good signage. The hospital smelled clean. However, I stood where it said to wait for staff to call up, and listened to their personal discussions for at least 5 minutes, no acknowledgement of us in line, they knew we were there. It felt like a power trip. I was in pain standing, probably others as well. Please at least acknowledge patients. Please take personal chat out of our view/hearing. It's inconsiderate. The CT tech was professional and patient explaining how to get onto the machine and what I needed to do. All in all it took about 45 minutes from parking to exit.

Terrible hospital never take anything serious in the ER my wife has gone in many of times for severe head pain issues and high blood pressure over 180/121 and just got sent home and the reason they put she was there was nausea nothing to do with why she was there. I also went in with a crushed finger tip a couple years ago and the doctor who was not a trained surgeon tried to perform surgery by learning from text messages which resulted in a failed attempt and them being in able to control the bleeding and just sent me home waiting for a surgery. I hope one day it will improve but so far still terrible

I'm so grateful to all the staff I encountered during my recent visit to emergency. I know it isn't easy working in the medical field right now, especially in northern BC, but everyone I encountered was so kind, professional and caring. To the nurses, doctors, ultrasound techs, porters, and so on, thank you. Your time and care is so appreciated. I hope anyone who ends up there has the same experience I had.
